Senior Engineer – Front Line Manager

About the role

The Senior Engineer – Front Line Manager will supervise shift operations of value streams, motivate shop‑floor associates and ensure efficient value creation. The role includes mentoring entry‑level staff, coaching development, and maintaining safety, quality and shop‑floor standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise production set‑up according to schedule and assign tasks to associates.
• Follow standard procedures, BPS and work instructions to meet SQCD targets.
• Conduct daily safety and quality checks, record shift events and hand over to the next shift.
• Track performance KPIs such as OEE, FPY, scrap and tool life, identify deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain shop‑floor discipline, manage IR, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising shift operations in an industrial environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills.
• Ability to analyse production data and drive performance improvements.
• Commitment to safety, quality and compliance standards.
