Business Analyst – Capital Market (IB)

About the role

Capco is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support capital market and investment banking projects in Bangalore (or Mumbai). The role involves working with large banks and financial institutions to analyse, design and deliver solutions across trade lifecycle and regulatory reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Operate in both agile and waterfall project methodologies, ensuring appropriate deliverables for each.
• Analyse trade lifecycle, global regulations and investment banking processes to define functional requirements.
• Manage project stakeholders, lead requirement‑gathering sessions and produce detailed business requirement specifications.
• Define testing objectives and coordinate with testing teams to validate solutions.

Required profile

• 6–12 years of experience as a Business Analyst in an investment bank.
• Strong understanding of trade processing, regulatory reporting, collateral management or derivatives operations.
• Proven ability to anticipate issues, conduct stakeholder elicitation and perform root‑cause analysis.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Agile methodology and related tools.
