About the role
Weaver is seeking an Audit Associate to support the audit practice in delivering high‑quality assurance services, including engagements subject to PCAOB standards.
Key responsibilities
- Support the audit team in delivering high‑quality assurance services to clients, including PCAOB engagements.
- Assist in audit engagements and prepare comprehensive audit documentation.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and audit methodologies.
- Prepare audit workpapers and ensure they meet PCAOB documentation standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field; CPA eligibility preferred.
- 2–3 years of public accounting experience, preferably serving PCAOB clients.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and basic audit concepts.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to follow audit methodology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Coachable, proactive attitude and comfort working in fast‑paced environments.
