Factory Controller

About the role

The Factory Controller acts as a trusted partner for the management team of the Cheyyar factory, providing accurate cost information and supporting decision‑making. The role covers month‑end closing in SAP, budgeting, variance analysis, and reporting of production costs, while driving cost‑saving initiatives and ensuring investment compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide management with an accurate view of variable production costs (VPC) and monitor Process Key Figures (PKF).
• Identify and communicate potential cost‑reduction opportunities.
• Track and report cost‑saving projects, both operational and investment‑related.
• Maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) and create/maintain SKUs with up‑to‑date costing data.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget vs. prior year) for VPC, PKF and cost‑saving metrics.
• Ensure investments follow Rockwool group principles, compiling required information and reporting.
• Handle ad‑hoc projects (20‑30% of time) and support standardisation and benchmarking activities.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently and manage end‑to‑end month‑close processes in SAP.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in cost cycles and settlements.
• Excellent coordination skills across production, maintenance, quality, environment, purchasing, logistics and warehouse functions.
• Soft‑spoken and able to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
