Associate Site Manager (Clinical Trials)

About the role

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Associate Site Manager to support clinical trial sites across Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Delhi. This entry‑level position (2‑4 years of on‑site monitoring experience) acts as the primary liaison between the sponsor and investigational sites, ensuring trials run smoothly from start‑up to close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with site selection, qualification visits and feasibility assessments.
• Plan and support subject recruitment and retention strategies.
• Coordinate site initiation, on‑site and remote monitoring, and close‑out activities.
• Implement risk‑based monitoring models and ensure timely resolution of monitoring findings.
• Maintain compliance with trial protocols, SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with Local Trial Manager, Clinical Trial Assistant and Trial Delivery Leader.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in on‑site clinical trial monitoring.
• Strong understanding of GCP, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
