Associate Customer Service Manager

About the role

The Associate Customer Service Manager will lead branch operations and customer service for a rural banking outlet. This role ensures efficient, cost‑effective delivery of retail banking products while maintaining compliance and high service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day branch administration and ensure strict adherence to bank policies.
• Manage customer lifecycle activities, including data entry, account creation, and KYC verification.
• Handle cash transactions, clearing, and loan document verification.
• Maintain strong audit ratings and drive best‑in‑class service for both external and internal customers.
• Partner with business units to implement operational and regulatory practices, including compliance and risk management.
• Lead quality initiatives to optimise processes, improve turnaround times and upgrade service level agreements.
• Utilise automation and digitisation tools to increase operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (BA, BCom, BBA, BSc, BTech, BE or equivalent).
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in banking or a related financial services environment.
