About the role
The Associate Customer Service Manager will lead the day‑to‑day operations of a rural branch, driving retail banking growth while ensuring cost‑effective and technology‑enabled service delivery. The role is the primary custodian of branch documentation and supports Rural and semi‑urban retail products.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all branch operations, ensuring strict compliance with bank policies and procedures.
- Manage customer service delivery, handling cash transactions, account creation, and data entry of applications.
- Perform KYC checks, verify loan documents, and maintain accurate customer records.
- Maintain high audit ratings and monitor service level agreements.
- Partner with business units to implement compliance, lending, and operational risk practices.
- Lead quality initiatives, optimize processes, and drive automation and digitisation to improve turnaround times.
Required profile
- Graduation in any discipline (BA, BCom, BBA, BSc, BTech, BE or equivalent).
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in banking or a related financial services environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency in data entry and document verification.
- Strong understanding of KYC and cash handling procedures.
- Ability to use automation and digitisation tools to enhance operational efficiency.
