About the role
The General Cashier will provide excellent and consistent administrative support to guests and internal customers while ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel’s Accounting Department.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality administrative assistance to guests and internal stakeholders.
- Support the efficient running of the Accounting Department by handling cash transactions and reconciliations.
- Process daily cash receipts, deposits, and withdrawals accurately.
- Maintain and reconcile cash registers and petty‑cash accounts.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with month‑end closing activities.
- Liaise with other hotel departments to resolve accounting queries.
Required profile
- Certificate or qualification in Finance and/or Accounting.
- 2‑4 years of experience as a General Cashier in a hotel, large organization, or accounting firm.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Required skills
- Cash handling and reconciliation.
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Microsoft Excel.
