Assistant Vice President – Outbound Hotel Sales (AVP/VP)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and highly driven outbound hotel sales professional to develop and grow our B2B hotel business across international markets. The role focuses on selling hotel inventory to travel trade partners outside India and building long‑term partnerships that generate repeat bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Drive B2B sales of hotels and accommodation products across outbound markets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with travel agents, tour operators, wholesalers, DMCs, OTA/B2B platforms, and corporate travel companies.
• Identify high‑potential source markets and create tailored sales strategies.
• Conduct sales calls, meetings, webinars, and partner visits to generate new business.
• Negotiate rates, contracts, allotments and promotional partnerships.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Reservations, Marketing and Operations teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and pricing.
• Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, account plans and CRM records.

Required profile

• 10–20 years of experience in hotel sales, hospitality, travel trade or outbound tourism.
• Proven track record of selling hotels to international markets from India.
• Strong network of B2B travel agents, tour operators, DMCs, wholesalers and travel companies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to independently generate leads and convert new B2B accounts.
• Strong commercial acumen and target‑oriented approach.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for business development.
