Assistant System Administrator

About the role

Denodo’s IT team is looking for an Assistant System Administrator to help manage the company’s global IT infrastructure, assets and user‑facing applications. You will work closely with internal users and external providers to keep services reliable, secure and performant.

Key responsibilities

• Implement solutions to improve availability, scalability, latency and efficiency of applications on hybrid‑cloud environments.
• Perform operating system and network administration tasks.
• Automate routine tasks to streamline support workflows.
• Assist both non‑technical end users and technical users such as developers and testers.
• Test backup, recovery and restore procedures and scenarios.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date inventory of assets, services, software and hardware.
• Document architectures, deployments and installations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and tune running systems to meet SLA requirements.
• Propose and execute improvements in deployments.
• Participate in on‑call duties to support platforms and services.
