About the role
Rupeek Fintech is looking for an Assistant Manager – Taxation to join its finance team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for ensuring timely tax compliance, preparing returns, and supporting audit activities for a fast‑growing fintech platform.
Key responsibilities
- Track and pay all statutory taxes before due dates.
- Prepare and file quarterly and annual tax returns accurately.
- Compute advance tax, DTA, and year‑end tax liabilities.
- Handle assessments, notices, and correspondence with tax authorities.
- Identify tax‑saving opportunities and advise on profit‑enhancing measures.
- Stay updated on tax law changes and industry trends.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors during yearly audits and ensure timely filing.
Required profile
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 + years of relevant tax experience.
- Strong knowledge of Indian tax regulations and compliance processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with accounting software packages.
