About the role
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Housekeeping to support the efficient operation of the housekeeping department at Hyatt Regency Chennai. Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will help uphold Hyatt’s corporate strategies and brand standards while ensuring guest and owner satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Housekeeping Manager in day‑to‑day departmental operations.
- Supervise, train and coach housekeeping attendants and team leaders.
- Monitor cleanliness standards and ensure compliance with brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to meet guest expectations.
- Support inventory control of linen, amenities and cleaning supplies.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years experience as an Assistant Manager or Team Leader in Front Office or Guest Relations within a hotel.
- Strong communication and customer‑relation abilities.
