Assistant Manager - Admin & Security

About the role

ReNew, a leading renewable energy company in India, is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee administration and security functions for its operations in Solapur. The role ensures the protection of company assets, personnel, and facilities while supporting business continuity across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Organise security of company property, assets, personnel, facilities and operations against vandalism, espionage, sabotage, theft and unauthorised entry through contracted security agencies.
• Develop and maintain an intelligence and vigilance network, conduct risk and threat assessments, and implement problem‑solving measures to ensure business continuity at O&M sites.
• Manage security service providers, including quality controls, audits, reporting, budgetary oversight, billing and compliance.
• Handle Right of Way (RoW) issues, liaising with local villagers, police, administrative authorities and coordinating with EPC and legal teams up to Tehsil and District levels.
• File and follow up on FIRs for theft, vandalism and related incidents, ensuring compliance with insurance claim norms.

Required profile

• Graduation or equivalent education.
• 10 to 30 years of relevant experience in security, administration or related fields.
• Proven ability to manage external security agencies and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
