Assistant Director – HR (Talent Acquisition Lead)

About the role

Parul University is looking for an experienced Assistant Director – HR to lead its Talent Acquisition function. The role combines strategic recruitment, policy development, and HR team leadership to support the university’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment for faculty, administrative staff, and leadership positions.
• Design and implement innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract high‑quality professionals.
• Collaborate with department heads on hiring needs and workforce planning.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve HR policies in line with institutional objectives and regulatory guidelines (labour laws, UGC, AICTE).
• Manage and expand the HR team, mentoring staff and ensuring effective HR service delivery.
• Promote employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion across the university.
• Implement performance evaluation systems and career progression frameworks.
• Develop strategies for employee retention, motivation, and conflict resolution.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• 10+ years of HR experience, preferably within the education sector.
• Proven track record in recruitment and talent acquisition strategy.
• Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Experience with higher‑education institutions is a plus.
