About the role
3M is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead the SH segment in Tamil Nadu. You will be responsible for driving sales growth across an assigned territory, building strong customer relationships, and representing 3M’s innovative product portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets by independently covering assigned accounts and territory.
- Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned with company objectives.
- Manage customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and expand market share.
- Collaborate with internal teams and request assistance for complex situations requiring specialized expertise.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and report performance metrics regularly.
Required profile
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales forecasts over a sustained period.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and ability to work with periodic supervision.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
