Area Sales Executive – Off‑Trade (Kota)

About the role

Bacardi is seeking an Area Sales Executive to lead off‑trade sales in Kota. You will be responsible for generating primary and secondary sales, building strong relationships with distributors and retailers, and driving the launch and availability of Bacardi’s portfolio brands in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve key financial targets including net sales value, gross margin, profitability and ROI.
• Deliver on “Pictures of Success” targets and complete required surveys in partnership with customers and distributors.
• Develop and maintain long‑term relationships with key customers and distributors, acting as the primary Bacardi contact in the state.
• Execute occasion‑based price‑pack architecture and manage annual price increases to improve product mix.
• Optimize promotional plans throughout the year using ROI‑driven strategies.
• Contribute to channel and portfolio strategy for the territory.
• Communicate regularly with customers to gather feedback, resolve operational issues and drive product improvements.
• Build short‑ and long‑term sales strategies based on consumer insights and market understanding while managing budgets and price plans.

Required profile

Required skills

• Experience in channel strategy and brand‑pack‑channel mix optimisation.
• Commercial experience in beverages, FMCG or alcohol‑drink categories.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Effective networking and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation abilities and on‑premises sales experience.
