Android Mobile Application Developer

About the role

Media.net is seeking an Android Mobile Application Developer to design, develop and maintain native Android applications that power its advertising and consumer‑acquisition platforms. You will work with large‑scale data, sub‑millisecond latency requirements and global products deployed across multiple data centres.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality native Android apps using Kotlin and Java.
• Implement and manage core Android components such as Activities, Services, Broadcast Receivers and Content Providers.
• Create custom, performant user interfaces following UI/UX best practices.
• Write and execute unit tests to ensure code reliability and performance.
• Apply strong algorithmic and data‑structure knowledge to solve complex problems within tight latency constraints.

Required profile

• Proven experience building native Android applications.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture components and lifecycle.
• Ability to work with large data sets and optimise for sub‑millisecond response times.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
