Product Security and Privacy Champion

About the role

As a member of the Product Security and Privacy team reporting to the Chief Product Security & Privacy Architect, you will be the go‑to expert for day‑to‑day security and privacy activities across a diverse portfolio of applications. You will coach engineering teams on adopting the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDL) and work closely with security architects to ensure consistent quality and manage escalations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on security and privacy support to engineering teams.
• Coach and guide teams in adopting the SSDL program.
• Collaborate with security architects to maintain high‑quality security outputs.
• Manage security and privacy escalations.
• Review and assess security/privacy aspects of web, embedded, mobile, and desktop applications.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects across all HID Business Areas.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product security and privacy.
• Ability to work autonomously and influence engineering teams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with security architecture and SSDL processes.
• Experience with diverse technology stacks (Web, Embedded, Mobile, Desktop).
