Android Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Android Developer to join our technology team in Chennai. You will collaborate with product, UI/UX, backend and QA teams to build scalable, secure and user‑friendly mobile applications using Kotlin and Java.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain Android applications.
• Write clean, reusable code with Kotlin and Java, following MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Integrate RESTful APIs using Retrofit/OkHttp and manage JSON data.
• Implement local storage with Room/SQLite and integrate third‑party SDKs such as Firebase.
• Debug, troubleshoot performance issues and ensure application stability.
• Participate in code reviews, write unit and UI tests, and manage version control with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
• Support releases on Google Play Store and stay updated with the latest Android technologies.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and solid knowledge of Java.
• Hands‑on experience with Android SDK, Android Studio and Jetpack components.
• Good understanding of Android lifecycle, threading and Coroutines.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
