Accountant Executive – Accounting & GST Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant Executive to oversee our accounting operations, GST compliance, banking transactions, inventory accounting and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, maintain ledgers and trial balance.
• Manage profit & loss accounts, balance sheet records and depreciation entries.
• Handle provisions, reserves, expense accounting and differentiate capital vs revenue expenditures.
• Perform GST input and output reconciliation, file CGST, SGST and IGST returns, and manage GST credit and debit notes.
• Process TDS deductions and ensure compliance.
• Oversee purchase and sales accounting, inventory and stock management.
• Support audit and compliance requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of SAP, Zoho Books, Tally ERP and other ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Conditional Formatting, SUMIF/COUNTIF, Data Validation, MIS reporting).
• Good understanding of GST, CGST, SGST, IGST and TDS regulations.
