About the role

The Account Manager will be based on‑site in Indore and will own the day‑to‑day relationship with existing yarn‑trading customers. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring inquiries are answered promptly and issues related to orders, deliveries, and payments are resolved efficiently.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow relationships with current clients, providing reliable service and support.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, coordinate quotations, order processing, inventory checks, and logistics.
  • Monitor account performance, follow up on receivables, and prepare basic sales and account status reports.
  • Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts and support onboarding of new clients.
  • Maintain accurate records in line with company policies and ensure timely resolution of any order‑related issues.

Required profile

  • Strong client relationship management abilities with a focus on trust and long‑term partnership.
  • Clear verbal and written communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Office for record‑keeping, reporting, and documentation.
  • Good numerical aptitude and attention to detail for pricing, invoicing, and payment follow‑ups.
  • Ability to work independently on‑site, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple client requirements.
  • Previous experience in sales, account management, or customer service, preferably in textiles, yarn, or related trading sectors.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the local Indore textile market and comfort working in a trading environment is an advantage.
