About the role

We are seeking a dynamic, detail‑oriented YouTube Content Editor to lead the creation, optimisation, and publishing of high‑quality editorial video content. The role combines digital storytelling, audience engagement, and data‑driven optimisation to grow the channel’s reach and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Publish editorial video content consistently, meeting defined timelines.
• Identify, develop, and package newsworthy and trending stories for digital audiences.
• Maintain editorial accuracy, relevance, quality, and strong storytelling standards.
• Optimise video titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, and metadata to improve YouTube search visibility.
• Monitor and analyse channel performance metrics such as views, watch time, subscriber growth, and audience engagement.
• Generate actionable insights from YouTube Analytics and recommend content improvements.
• Coordinate with content creators, video editors, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
• Stay updated on current affairs, digital media trends, audience behaviour, and platform updates.
• Ensure compliance with copyright regulations, community guidelines, and platform policies.
