Workday Admin & Security Analyst

About the role

Synechron is seeking an experienced Workday Admin and Security Analyst to own the security architecture and governance of its Workday platform. You will work across HCM, Compensation, Absence, Learning, Recruiting, Talent, and Performance modules, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain, and advise on Workday security, including domain security policies, roles, and role assignments.
• Perform audits of system roles and access logs to ensure compliance with GDPR and internal controls.
• Partner with HR Operations to manage mass data uploads using Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB).
• Design, develop, test, train, audit, and implement Workday security and organizational solutions.
• Support integrations between Workday and internal applications, and assist with system testing and issue resolution.
• Provide high‑quality support through internal ticketing systems and collaborate with HRIS, HR Ops, technology teams, and vendors.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of proven experience designing, implementing, and supporting Workday security solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on data accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Workday security configuration (domain and business process security).
• Workday role and organization management.
• Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) creation, loading, and troubleshooting.
• Workday integrations knowledge.
• Understanding of GDPR and regulatory compliance in a Workday context.
