About the role
We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our IT team. The role involves building and maintaining high‑performance, user‑friendly websites through custom plugin and theme development.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop front‑end interfaces and ensure responsive design.
- Develop and manage back‑end components, including database and server integration.
- Create, customize, and enhance WordPress themes and plugins.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and security.
- Collaborate with designers, project managers and other developers to meet project requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve WordPress‑related issues.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Strong proficiency in PHP and ability to work at the code level.
- Good English communication skills.
- Ability to perform whiteboard or live coding exercises.
Required skills
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
- Responsive design and UI/UX best practices
- Custom WordPress theme and plugin development
- Database integration and back‑end development
- Version control with Git
- Debugging and troubleshooting
