Windows Server Administrator – Enterprise Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for a Windows Server Administrator to manage and support our enterprise‑level Windows infrastructure. The role will ensure high availability, security, and performance of servers across production environments while collaborating with network, security and application teams.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems, ensuring stability and optimal performance.
• Manage the full server lifecycle, including upgrades, migrations, and decommissioning.
• Administer VMware virtual environments, perform VM provisioning, cloning, and capacity planning.
• Execute monthly OS patching cycles and coordinate firmware, hardware, and software updates within approved maintenance windows.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts to streamline routine administrative tasks.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP services, and enforce secure identity and access controls.
• Monitor system health, logs and performance metrics; troubleshoot server crashes, connectivity issues and service outages.
• Implement security hardening, support audit and compliance activities, and maintain up‑to‑date documentation and SOPs.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience administering Windows Server environments in a production setting.
• Strong background with VMware virtualization technologies.
• Experience using SCCM for centralized server management and patching.
• Solid troubleshooting and production support skills.
• Understanding of security hardening and compliance processes.
