Welding Trainer & Surveyor

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Welding Trainer & Surveyor to demonstrate welding techniques and support candidates in improving their skills. The role involves delivering both theoretical and practical training, witnessing qualification tests and providing on‑site assistance for cutting applications.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a demonstrator for welding training sessions, guiding candidates through correct welding practices.
• Deliver theory and practical welding training covering multiple processes.
• Witness and document welding qualification tests.
• Provide support for new cutting applications on client sites.
• Travel to various on‑site locations for extended periods as required.
• Work under the supervision of the senior welding trainer.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel and stay on site for long durations.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Familiarity with welding qualification codes such as ASME, BS/EN/ISO and AWS D1.1.

Required skills

• SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding)
• GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding)
• TIG welding (GTAW)
• SAW (Submerged Arc Welding)
• Knowledge of ASME, BS/EN/ISO and AWS D1.1 welding codes
• Cutting application support
