Website Developer (WordPress)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Website Developer to join our team in Chennai. The role focuses on building and maintaining WordPress‑based websites, ensuring high performance, security and SEO compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize and maintain WordPress sites using PHP, HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery.
• Create custom post types, themes and template integrations.
• Build and configure plugins for contact forms, SMTP, social media, SEO and multilingual support.
• Troubleshoot performance issues and implement best‑practice delivery processes.
• Ensure site security and cross‑browser, cross‑platform compatibility.
• Use Google Search Console and Chrome DevTools to monitor and optimise sites.
• Collaborate with content and design teams to implement SEO and SEM strategies.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven experience in WordPress development.
• Strong hands‑on experience with MySQL databases.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other content management systems.
• Ability to work independently and follow project delivery best practices.
