Web Research Specialist – AI Research & Evaluation

About the role

Fusion CX is seeking Web Research Specialists in India to support the evaluation of advanced AI browsing agents. This contractual, remote position focuses on investigative research rather than conventional content writing, requiring you to create challenging research questions and document verifiable evidence trails.

Key responsibilities

• Design research problems that are difficult for state‑of‑the‑art AI systems to solve, even with full web access.
• Start with a verifiable fact, work backward to craft a question that makes the fact hard to locate, and produce a complete, auditable evidence trail.
• Generate natural‑language research questions with short, objectively verifiable answers and provide independently checkable clues across multiple fact types.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in research, investigative work, fact‑checking, OSINT, archival research, or LLM evaluation.
• Native or near‑native written English and strong tolerance for structured documentation.
• Ability to locate primary records, navigate government and institutional databases, and cite exact pages or sections.

Required skills

• Proficiency in JSON and structured data delivery formats.
• Strong investigative research and analytical abilities, including constructing difficult research questions from verifiable facts.
