Web Application Engineer (Next.js, TypeScript)

About the role

Airbus India is seeking a highly skilled Web Application Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable web solutions. You will work with the latest front‑end technologies and collaborate with back‑end teams to deliver secure, high‑performance applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive web applications using Next.js, React.js and TypeScript.
• Design and manage data models in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third‑party services.
• Collaborate with Python and C# micro‑services teams for cross‑service functionality.
• Assist in containerizing and deploying applications on OpenShift, Kubernetes or Docker.
• Write clean, testable code, perform unit testing and participate in code reviews.
• Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks and implement optimisations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Next.js, React.js, server‑side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG).
• TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• HTML5, CSS3 and responsive design.
• PostgreSQL and MongoDB database expertise.
• Basic knowledge of Python and C# for micro‑service interaction.
• Experience with OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes or Docker.
• RESTful API design and integration.
