Warehouse Compliance Officer

About the role

The Warehouse Compliance Officer ensures that the warehouse meets all internal and external audit requirements through strict GMP and cGMP adherence. The role focuses on maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, and guaranteeing product quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the warehouse for internal and external audits by ensuring GMP compliance.
• Maintain cGMP documentation and follow cGMP practices for all warehouse activities.
• Receive, store, issue, dispatch, and reconcile semi‑finished goods, finished goods, and cell banks.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and monitor expiry dates, near‑expiry items, and retesting schedules.
• Oversee equipment maintenance, temperature monitoring, and manage temperature excursions.
• Ensure timely dispatch of products and prepare both returnable and non‑returnable gate passes.
• Handle returned, recalled, and DS (drug substance) items, including cell bank issuance.
• Make e‑log and SAP entries for all warehouse transactions.

Required profile

• 13‑15 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a GMP environment.
• Graduation in Chemistry or a related science; Master’s degree preferred.
