Waiter/Waitress – Guest Service at Soho House

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Waiter/Waitress to join our hospitality team at Soho House. You will play a key part in delivering exceptional guest experiences across breakfast, lunch, dinner and events while supporting the overall performance of the food and beverage department.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in meeting guest‑satisfaction targets and revenue goals set for the department.
• Follow Soho House service standards and sequences for all meal periods and events.
• Resolve service or product issues promptly and report any incidents to the Restaurant or Club Manager.
• Escort guests, reset tables, and ensure each guest’s satisfaction is checked during each service.
• Execute side‑jobs, follow schedules, and comply with all relevant policies, grooming standards and training requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service.
• Positive attitude, strong problem‑solving ability and a “can‑do” mindset.
• Comfortable handling basic administrative tasks and using service systems.
• Ability to motivate and manage a small team.
• Punctual, reliable, trustworthy and able to work with a sense of urgency.
