About the role
Island to Island Veterinary Clinic is seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Veterinary Nurse Assistants, also referred to as Pet Care Attendants. In this role you will provide attentive care to animal patients during their stay, ensuring their comfort and safety while supporting the veterinary team.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and safe hospital environment, both inside and outside.
- Provide care and supervision for dogs up to 35 lbs and other animal patients during their stay.
- Assist with feeding, grooming, and administering basic treatments as directed.
- Ensure proper handling of animals and monitor their wellbeing.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet clinic needs.
Required profile
- Genuine love for animals and a caring, attentive nature.
- Reliability and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Positive and respectful attitude toward coworkers, clients, and animals.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
