User‑Centred Designer – Digital Products

About the role

The Designer will create user‑centred digital experiences that support the British Council’s design strategy and business goals. Working within the Digital and Technology Directorate, you will help shape innovative products and services that are accessible, scalable and impactful.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality, user‑centred design solutions across digital products and services.
• Collaborate with product, technology, marketing and other stakeholders to define requirements and shape user journeys.
• Champion inclusive design practices and contribute to scalable design systems and interaction patterns.
• Use research, analytics and user feedback to identify opportunities for improving digital experiences.
• Stay abreast of emerging design trends and technologies, sharing knowledge across the organisation.
