US Tax Compliance Manager – Bangalore

About the role

PwC is seeking a US Tax Compliance Manager to join its Bangalore team. The role focuses on delivering US direct tax compliance services for corporate clients, ensuring accurate filing and adherence to regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the team in preparing US Direct Tax compliance deliverables, including tax forms such as 1120, 5471, 5472, 8832, 8858, 8865 and 8621.
• Prepare and file the above tax forms using OneSource Income Tax (OIT) software.
• Update workpapers, trackers and import templates related to tax adjustments and pre‑compliance work.
• Participate in internal Learning & Education sessions.
• Communicate task status to the manager and ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of experience in US direct tax compliance.
• Strong knowledge of tax computations and US tax regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical, numerical and interpersonal abilities.
• Education: MBA, CA or MCom with a Chartered Accountant qualification.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Experience with OneSource Income Tax (OIT) platform.
