About the role

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is hiring 170 candidates for Vidhan Bhawan Guard and Fire Guard positions. These full‑time government posts involve maintaining security and fire safety at the state legislative building.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor entry points and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and prevent unauthorized access.
• Respond promptly to fire alarms, conduct fire‑prevention checks, and assist in evacuation procedures.
• Maintain logs of incidents, visitor registers, and daily security reports.
• Coordinate with senior security officers and local law enforcement as required.

Required profile

• Age between 18 and 40 years as of 01 July 2026.
• Resident of Uttar Pradesh as per UPSSSC rules.
• Intermediate (10+2) qualification with a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 score card.
• Physical fitness meeting the standards set for guard duties.
