Travel Specialist – Fare Filing Distribution

About the role

The Travel Specialist will join TCS's fare filing distribution team, handling the end‑to‑end process of uploading and maintaining airline fare data in the ATPCO system. This position works on a 24 × 7 shift pattern and supports global distribution channels.

Key responsibilities

• File and update fares and rule conditions (eligibility, seasonality, advance purchase, etc.) in ATPCO.
• Manage special fare filing activities such as YQ/YR, optional services, branded fares, and chart 1 & 2 entries.
• Perform quality‑assurance checks in major GDS platforms (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre).
• Validate fare and rule data for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Identify and resolve inconsistencies between ATPCO and GDS systems.
• Stay current with industry trends and ATPCO procedural updates.

Required profile

• 1‑6 years of relevant experience in fare filing or airline pricing.
• Minimum 15 years of regular full‑time education (10 + 2 + 3).
• Ability to work rotating 24 × 7 shifts.
• Strong knowledge of world geography and fare construction concepts.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the ATPCO fare filing system.
• Hands‑on experience with GDS platforms: Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre.
