Travel Logistic Coordinator – Warehouse Operations

About the role

The Transport Management Executive ensures the efficient movement of furniture, home décor and homeware from the warehouse to stores and customers. The role focuses on planning daily dispatches, optimizing fleet utilization, and maintaining high service‑level performance in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily dispatches from the warehouse.
• Coordinate with transport vendors and fleet partners to secure timely vehicle availability.
• Optimize vehicle utilization and route planning to lower transportation costs.
• Monitor shipment movement, track deliveries, and ensure on‑time performance.
• Resolve delivery delays, transit issues, and customer escalations.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams for loading and dispatch schedules.
• Verify transport documentation, invoices, PODs, e‑way bills and delivery challans.
• Maintain transporter performance scorecards and negotiate service improvements.
• Analyze freight costs and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Support reverse logistics, returns and damaged‑goods handling.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly transport reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in transportation, warehouse logistics or distribution.
• Experience in retail, furniture, e‑commerce or home‑improvement sectors is preferred.
