Travel Designer – Luxury Travel Operations

About the role

CustomHolidays is seeking a detail‑oriented Travel Designer to create bespoke luxury itineraries from start to finish. You will be responsible for planning itineraries, costing hotels, tours, transfers, and curating unique experiences for high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed costing sheets in Excel for accommodations, tours, transfers, and experiences.
• Liaise with global suppliers, hotels, and travel partners to negotiate rates, secure bookings, and resolve operational issues.
• Research and curate unforgettable travel experiences, continuously expanding destination knowledge.
• Manage multiple client requests daily while keeping CRM records and supplier databases up to date.
• Attend industry shows and events to stay informed about destinations, hotels, and products.
• Design comprehensive travel routes that include flights, land travel, and cruises as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Travel & Tourism, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the travel industry.
• Excellent verbal and written negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for preparing and maintaining costing sheets.
