Travel Consultant – Bangalore

About the role

As a Travel Consultant at BCD Travel, you will be the primary point of contact for corporate clients, helping them plan and book travel while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Search, book, and confirm travel reservations for clients.
• Interpret and apply client travel policies to provide accurate guidance.
• Handle regulatory requirements such as DOT, TSA, passport and visa documentation.
• Provide clients with up‑to‑date information on fares, exchange rates, penalties, and industry trends.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and commercial relationships.
• Maintain current knowledge of the travel industry and related services.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a travel agent or consultant.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Solid understanding of travel industry policies, procedures, and processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Amadeus Global Distribution System (GDS).
