Travel Agent - First Line (Call Centre)

About the role

Etraveli Group, a global flight technology provider partnering with platforms such as Booking.com, Google Flights, Skyscanner and Kayak, is hiring a Travel Agent for its first-line customer service team in Mumbai. The agent reports to the Team Lead, works in a modern call centre within a dynamic customer support team, and handles high call and email volumes while offering flights, hotels, car rentals and insurance. Shifts are 24/7 according to schedule, including night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Team Lead to achieve goals.
• Handle high call and email volumes and deliver quality service to customers.
• Sell products such as flights, hotels, car rentals and insurance.
• Work closely with other departments to stay up to date on updates.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in a call centre environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English.
• Self-driven, proactive and results-oriented, with good attention to detail.
• Well organised, persistent, able to multitask, manage change and work under pressure.
• Preferred: travel industry knowledge, exceptional customer service and sales skills.

Required skills

• Competent quantitative skills (good at calculations).
• Communication and teamwork with other departments.
