Transportation Supervisor – Logistics & Transport

About the role

The Transportation Supervisor will lead the daily transport operations for our logistics division, ensuring safe, timely, and cost‑effective vehicle movement. You will coordinate drivers, manage fleet performance, and maintain compliance with all statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, route, and deploy vehicles on a daily basis.
• Monitor driver attendance, discipline, and trip performance.
• Conduct travel, trip, and fuel audits, and inspect fuel usage.
• Track fuel consumption, mileage, vehicle utilisation, and transportation costs.
• Schedule vehicle servicing, repairs, and maintain proper documentation.
• Oversee GPS tracking to prevent unauthorised use and route deviations.
• Coordinate with drivers, transporters, dispatch, warehouse, and operations teams.
• Validate trip sheets, fuel records, and transporter bills.
• Handle breakdowns, delays, accidents, and emergencies.
• Prepare daily and weekly transport and cost‑control reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety permits, insurance, fitness certificates, and other statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Graduate or Diploma in Logistics, Transport Management, Operations or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in transport or fleet management.
• Experience in poultry, FMCG, food, agriculture or similar industries is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and transport/fleet management systems.
