Transportation Representative – Network Operations Center

About the role

The Transportation Representative works within Amazon's Network Operations Center (NOC) to ensure smooth transportation execution across inbound and outbound freight flows. The role acts as a liaison between carriers, vendors, fulfillment centers and internal teams, resolving exceptions quickly to maintain on‑time delivery for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with external partners (carriers, vendors/suppliers) and internal stakeholders (retail, finance, software support, fulfillment centers) to coordinate freight movements.
• Identify, escalate and resolve transportation exceptions for both inbound (vendor to FC) and outbound (FC to customer) operations.
• Monitor network performance, analyze trends, and propose or implement process improvements.
• Research internal tools and data to make real‑time decisions that minimize disruption.
• Document issues and resolutions, ensuring all parties are kept informed.
