Transport Operations Consultant

About the role

The Transport Operations Consultant supports the Transport Assistant Manager in overseeing daily crew transport activities. The role ensures punctual, safe, and quality service by coordinating with vendors, using automation tools, and maintaining accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily crew transport schedules based on flight rosters and monitor real‑time movements.
• Work with drivers and vendors to handle delays, route changes, or emergencies.
• Serve as the first point of contact for transport vendors, reporting performance issues.
• Perform basic vehicle and driver checks before dispatch.
• Utilise Indigo’s transport management system and GPS tools to track vehicles and update trip logs.
• Flag system discrepancies and report safety incidents immediately.
• Maintain daily transport logs, incident reports, and vendor attendance sheets.
• Assist in preparing MIS reports on transport utilisation and punctuality.
• Provide crew members with transport‑related assistance and alternate arrangements when needed.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in transport or logistics operations, preferably in aviation or fleet services.
• Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong sense of responsibility, punctuality, and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with transport tracking systems and GPS tools.
