Electric Bus Driver – Heavy Duty

About the role

SV TRANS PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking reliable drivers to operate its fleet of electric buses. You will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on scheduled routes while representing the company’s commitment to clean, efficient public transport.

Key responsibilities

• Operate an electric bus safely and efficiently to transport passengers to designated destinations.
• Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while driving.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition.
• Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, ensuring a courteous experience.
• Maintain a clean and orderly interior of the bus.
• Communicate with dispatch and fellow drivers to coordinate routes and schedules.
• Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues to the appropriate authorities.
• Participate in required training sessions and meetings.

Required profile

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
• Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior bus driving experience is preferred.
• Good physical health and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test.

Required skills

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
