Transport Executive – Helpdesk, Coordinator & Tracker

About the role

The Transport Executive supports the transport function of the client’s facility by acting as the single point of contact for all transport‑related queries. The role combines help‑desk support, coordination of vehicle movements and tracking of daily pickups and drop‑offs, ensuring smooth and timely service for employees.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a 24/7 transport help‑desk: receive, log and resolve employee transport requests and complaints.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle movements, daily pickup and drop lists, and important transport contact numbers.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on transport requests, vehicle usage and KPI compliance.
• Provide administrative support to the transport team, monitor arrivals and departures, and display drop‑off lists on notice boards.
• Verify attendance of vehicles, drivers and vendor supervisors; conduct routine vehicle inspections.
• Collect and validate log sheets and pickup slips from vendors; allocate pickup/drop lists to vendor supervisors.
• Track each vehicle in real time, update the tracking tool, and coordinate with vendor trackers.
• Escalate transport issues during the shift and hand over incidents to the next shift via a shift log book.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma (any field) – freshers welcome.
• 0‑2 years of overall experience, with up to 1 year in a transport or logistics environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated teamwork, achievement orientation, learning attitude and positive thinking.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and email communication.
