Training Specialist – Learning & Development

About the role

Amazon's Last Mile Learning team is looking for a Training Specialist to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs that boost employee competencies across the last‑mile operations vertical. The role supports new‑hire onboarding, continuous learning, and performance improvement while traveling to various stations as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and analyze structured learning metrics for assigned territories.
• Manage live performance metrics end‑to‑end and report results.
• Conduct classroom and digital learning sessions on new processes and quality‑based metrics (BQM, ITL).
• Deliver continuous learning courses and ensure timely completion of new‑hire training.
• Maintain data analysis reports in Excel to support business decisions.
• Partner with operations leaders to audit stations, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Identify, certify, and coach learning coaches.
• Lead individual improvement projects to enhance business performance.
• Track daily business metrics, provide progress updates, and engage with local L&D teams.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Training Specialist or corporate trainer.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel according to business needs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
