Training Manager, Operations

About the role

The Training Manager will shape the long‑term vision for Amazon Logistics (AMZL) training, driving strategic improvements and benchmarking across industries. You will lead a team that creates, delivers, and continuously refines training programs to support rapid scaling of last‑mile delivery operations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet stakeholder goals and deadlines.
• Evaluate training projects, measure effectiveness through observations and participant feedback, and iterate on content.
• Produce reports and analytics on training performance against defined targets.
• Develop and maintain digital training content, leveraging LMS and other learning systems.
• Facilitate process changes via induction, on‑the‑job, and refresher training.
• Design innovative learner experiences that enable business improvement at scale.
• Build metrics and 360° feedback loops to track skill development of delivery partners.
• Lead a lean, high‑performing team focused on onboarding operators at delivery stations.

Required profile

• Strong leadership with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders and manage large, distributed teams.
• Experience setting up training academies, scaling initiatives, and handling ambiguity.
• Goal‑driven, analytical mindset with solid problem‑solving abilities.
• 1+ years in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, or transportation.
• Proven collaboration with global and local stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.

Required skills

• Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other digital training platforms.
