Tool Room Technician – Support O&M Spinner Block

About the role

The Tool Room Technician supports the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the Spinner Block by ensuring all tools and equipment are in optimal condition. This position plays a critical role in minimizing production downtime and maintaining high quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, welding, and electrical issues and replace worn parts.
• Maintain an organized tool room, manage inventory, and track tool usage.
• Calibrate tools and verify compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve tool‑related problems quickly.
• Conduct regular inspections to prevent delays and quality issues.
• Document maintenance activities, generate performance reports, and keep accurate inventory logs.
• Identify improvement opportunities and recommend upgrades or new technologies.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent technical education.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Tool Room Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
