Tool Room Technician – Support O&M Spinner Block

About the role

The Tool Room Technician supports the operation and maintenance (O&M) of the spinner block by ensuring all tools and equipment are in optimal condition. Working closely with production teams, the technician minimizes downtime and upholds quality standards in a manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on tools, machinery, and equipment, including machining, welding, and electrical components.
• Replace or refurbish worn parts and ensure tools are calibrated to safety standards.
• Maintain an organized tool room, manage inventory, track usage, and implement inventory procedures.
• Collaborate with production staff to resolve tool‑related issues, assist in tool setup, and conduct regular inspections.
• Document maintenance activities, generate performance reports, and keep accurate logs of inventory and spare parts.
• Adhere to safety protocols, regulatory standards, and company policies.
• Identify improvement opportunities, recommend upgrades, and stay informed on new tools and technologies.

Required profile

• Diploma or equivalent education.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Tool Room Technician or in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
