Textile Designer – Export Manufacturing (New Delhi)

About the role

House of Incas is seeking a creative Textile Designer to join its New Delhi team. You will work on‑site, translating market trends into product ranges for cushions, decorations, bags and accessories that are produced by a network of artisans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new product concepts and specifications aligned with current market trends.
• Create detailed computer‑aided designs and mock‑ups using industry‑standard software.
• Collaborate with artisans, vendors and international clients to turn designs into production‑ready samples.
• Maintain design documentation and ensure compliance with export requirements.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of design experience in an export or manufacturing environment.
• Degree or diploma in Textiles, Graphic Design or a related field.
• Strong understanding of colour theory, typography and visual hierarchy.
• Familiarity with embroidery techniques and ability to interpret commercially viable trends.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
